Experience
Tyler has provided a wide array of actuarial and project management support for state Medicaid programs. His experience specifically includes support for Medicaid managed care programs that provide services to low-income families, disabled individuals, dual-eligible members, members utilizing long-term care services, and children with behavioral health needs. Tyler develops managed care capitation rates, implements risk adjustment approaches, analyzes the impact of policy changes, and provides actuarial support for 1115, 1915(b), and 1915(c) waivers. In addition, he assists states in implementing and evaluating value-based purchasing programs.
